In 2018, Ana transitioned into the art world, launching her career as a mixed media artist to immediate acclaim. Drawing on her formal training, she brings a structural sensibility to her work while embracing the expressive possibilities of contemporary materials. Her practice explores the intersection of control and spontaneity, creating compositions that blur the boundaries between form, texture, and space.

Since then, Ana has gained recognition on the international stage, with gallery representation across the UK and Europe. Her work was featured in the 2023 book What Inspires Art?, and she was selected for the curated Pantone Colour of the Year 2024 showcase at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea. In 2025, her work was included in the Invest in Her collection at the Affordable Art Fair Hampstead.

Ana’s inspiration is taken mostly from water. Her early series of contemporary paintings draws inspiration from the shifting shards of underwater light, emphasising fluid movement as the central force that animates each composition.

“Sea Fragments” is a collection of smaller-scale original artworks, created in mixed media on wood panels. Inspired by aerial coastal views, she captures abstract sections of sea and shoreline through layered colour and texture.

Her “Sea Horizon” series blends contemporary mixed media on aluminium to capture the quiet beauty of sunsets over the ocean, offering a sense of tranquillity and calm.

“Aerial Seascapes” is a refined collection of seascape paintings on textured canvas, capturing the ocean’s movement and depth from a bird’s eye perspective, offering a unique and immersive aerial view of coastal landscapes.

Some of her more recent work, “Infinity Pools” explores the balance between structure and simplicity echoing her background in architecture. Her inspiration is drawn from the serene white villas of Mykonos and the elegant coastal homes of Spain’s Balearic Islands.

On meeting Ana it is clear that she understands the commercial realities of being an artist. She has a natural propensity for creating work that is accessible without sacrificing artistic integrity. In 2025 Ana exhibited independently with her own stand at the Manchester Art Fair, further cementing her growing presence in the UK art scene and her commitment to expanding her reach through international art fairs and collaborations. She is currently looking to expand further afield in New York, Boston and Singapore.

As they say, “watch this space”!
