Happy new year to all LAS members

In 2026 the LAS Committee is keen to engage with members by creating new opportunities and activities. The first step is to improve communication with members, so to start here are three things you can do on the new LAS website…

1. Subscribe to website updates

You only need to enter an email address and you will receive an automatic update each time a new post goes onto the website. This will include member exhibitions, opportunities, announcements etc. Don’t worry this is will be occasional, is secure and you will not receive spam.

Subscribe to LAS announcements here

2. Create your own profile page on the LAS website

All members can have their own page to show their images and add links to your own websites and social media. You can also add a few lines about yourself and promote what you do. (Don’t forget that search engines promote your rank depending on other sites linking to yours, so this is a good move!) See examples here

3. Promote your exhibitions on the LAS website

LAS members can promote their own exhibitions on the LAS website, These will also go out to all LAS website subscribers as an update (see item 1.)

New LAS Chair

This year’s AGM saw the inauguration of our new Chair, Tracy Smith.

Tracey joined the Society in 2019. She became Secretary on the committee during Phil Bowman’s term as Chair and continued in this role when Anne Wood took over as Chair. Tracey also became Vice Chair during Anne’s term taking on the role of Chair in November 2025. (View LAS Committee)

The Committee would like to thank Anne Wood for her years of dedicated service. Anne will be staying on as a member of the LAS and will no doubt be called upon for future advice and guidance.

Ian Walter presents Anne Wood with a parting flowers and champagne at the LAS AGM.

Old LAS website

I have redirected the old .com domain to the new domain .org.

So, from now on anyone using the old .com address will be seamlessly redirected.

Search engine links to the old .com home page will also redirect to .org. Unfortunately, search engine links to .com sub-pages will not redirect. Eventually these old search engine links will fizzle out!

Please do not advertise the old address from now on, always use www.lincolnshireartistssociety.org

Any questions let me know…
Chris.
