I did my BA degree in Fine Art at Hornsey Art College, North London (1982), where I worked in a wide variety of media. Portraiture and life drawing were my main subjects. Later, I ran Portrait and Life Drawing classes in Cornwall for 5 years; this gave me the opportunity to work from life regularly.
I moved to Lincolnshire in 2011 and have since taught Art & Design at Lincoln College (to 2021) and through Adult Education establishments around the county. I have also run private classes. Teaching has enriched my life and art practice.
