In 1994 The Lincolnshire Artists Society saw a restructuring regarding both its membership and its name. In response it also acquired a new logo by member David Paton that suggested ‘a new dawn of equal opportunity’

Now in 2026 as the Lincolnshire Artists Society celebrates its 120th year, again we have revisited its logo. This time artist and committee member Sally Kheng submitted a design which the committee felt met the criteria of creating an image that best represents our Society in 2026. That is, a positive future of creativity, artistic expression, professionalism, community and heritage.

The design of the logo itself is both contemporary and professional, suitable for both artistic and formal applications. The abstract brushstroke motif reflects mark making in many forms of artistic practice while the olive green background is a loose references the landscape, vast skies and textures associated with Lincolnshire.
